The Missions of San Antonio
Cost: $19.95 (plus 4.95 shipping + tax)
Length: 26 minutesSan Antonio possesses one of the outstanding collections of Spanish Colonial Architecture in the United States. Five incredible missions dating back to 1718 grace the city, each with its own story and unique beauty. The Mission San Antonio de Valero commonly known as the Alamo was the first in the area. Not many people know that it was not only the site of the epic battle, but this hallowed place was latter used as a grocery store. Our program takes us to what many believe to be the oldest unrestored church in America, Mission Concepcion, and to Mission San Jose the “Queen of the Missions” with its’ magnificent stone carvings. Not only do we tour through all five of the missions but we visit the Espada aqueduct the oldest aqueduct in the United States still carrying its water 15 feet above Piedras Creek.

Fredericksburg
Cost: $24.95 (plus 4.95 shipping + tax)
Length: 54 minutesA wonderful weekend trip! On this program we explore the German immigration to Texas and the settlement of Fredericksburg. Along the way we’ll visit Fort Martin Scott, The Pioneer Museum, and of coarse the National Museum for the Pacific War. Here we examine an amazing collection of World War II artifacts, everything from PT boats to B-25 bombers! We’ll view actual footage of young George Bush Sr. being rescued from his fallen torpedo bomber by an American Submarine.
As a special treat I take you to one of my favorite hangouts, Luckenbach, Texas, where we’ll meet a dear friend of mine and well known Texas author, Jim Gramon. He shares a few of his stories with us, as we relax in the legendary setting.
